i've not been lucky enough to play a Faceless yet, but reading the playbook years ago, i was really charmed by the thought of one wearing a pup hood as an icon instead of fetishwear - which i carried forward to a Dream Askew character i loved!

my proudest innovation in #HC2e over the original is the addition of six Faction-associates Crises, each 3-steps long. they're meant to dominate headlines and warp play when triggered. a new MMO subsetting! a permanent Rent hike! the cops throwing their weight around! hot new drugs!

really, really insightful stuff near the top here! that poll early on about how many O/U players GM tabletop games (200+ of us self-reported, i believe?) was super eye-opening, realizing how many folks here were steering the fun of other players in different ways

i joined Tempest in #OVER/UNDER because one of my fav players was uninterested in them in the TTRPG. now that the game's over, she said that we all showed her the appeal of playing as "some oorah dipshits."
suffice to say, my comrades liked the sentiment.
