I'm retired and probably in at least the top 20% regarding pensions, property and investments. But bulk at being lumped in with the billionaires, perhaps a sliding scale of tax might make the idea more palatable.

Broadly I think you’re right, but you need to distance yourself from the 100% figure ( you might be right but it will never happen, it just gives the hard of thinking something to latch on to)
