🌅Wôpankeekâk/Eenskeetôpâk 🦊🪶🐢🌕 + Sukeet | neesuncâkshwôsk | weetôpah Hapamakô🐍| Nee yâyuw!!
For example, in Wôpanaâk, it's written as N8shun, and in MP as Nohshun, but these are the exclusive 1pp pronoun rather than the inclusive, which would be K8shun/Kohshun. Interestingly, Cits Pátunáhshô uses the latter in her version of the prayer.

He is fearsome and associated with calamity and death, but with that he is also close to our ancestors and represents us in the afterlife, as well as protecting us and defending us from other influences and giving us healing/medicine.

Hapamakô used to be one of the principle mantok of the Dawnland (Wôpankeek) prior to colonization. He's been demonized under Xianization, but he's more complex than people often make him out to be. I view him as both a guardian and healer.

Omg u see it too!! Right? It would make so much sense -- i feel like there might be oral record but we don't know what the words are for respective peoples in the languages necessary for deciphering it 🤔

But the fact they traded with China historically lends credibility to the possibility bc China is further out than Japan~Ainu Mosir

No worries 😭 i just speculate that there mightve been prehistoric contact between Haida Gwaii and other PNW coastal groups and Indigenous groups like Ainu, Emishi, etc. because of the close proximity but ive not come across oral or archeological record yet 😭

The only MP word here is «chawgwan» (cáqan/câqan), wigwam is actually Abenaki/Alnôbaôdwawôgan, we say wetu/wicuw! much love 🫶🏿 to the Abenaki tho!
