I’m wearing a long purple robe that’s basically one of those super soft and fuzzy blankets inside and out (and it has pockets!), a Selena t-shirt, and Oscar The Grouch socks. I don’t think I could be any clearer.

Why, yes, I am already thinking about Halloween. 2025 has already been rough for so many of us - wishing everyone a happy, cathartic place to escape to when you need it.
Entryway mirror and table, decorated for Halloween with black and white and oil slick witchy decorations. Above the mirror is a swag with black foliage, glittery spiders, and a black and white striped bow. Purple lights illuminate the table and mirror in a spooky glow. A wooden door with a glass window, and two skinny glass windows on each side, decorated for Halloween with a raffia and pumpkin garland swagged above. At each of the hanging points of the garland is a small orange pumpkin skeleton. Fake spiders crawl on the window on the door, along with a black grapevine wreath covered in spiders. To the left of the door is a stack of three skulls, an angel garden statue, and part of a black, coffin shaped welcome sign bordered in white bats and spiderwebs. To the right of the door is a large fuzzy spider, and two lit plastic jack-o’-lanterns. The porch light above is orange, washing everything in a Halloween glow. The front yard, and part of the front of the house and garage are pictured. Giant spiderwebs and and assortment of grey, black, and white fuzzy giant spiders cross from the top of the garage to the front yard, over the walkway to the front door, lit in green. There’s another smaller web hanging from the top on the entryway to the roof on either side. This way, trick or treaters had to walk under the webs to get their treats. There are a couple of life size human and dog skeletons along the path, too, to greet them lit in red. A life size skeleton with red lights in its eyes is trapped, hands overhead, with fuzzy spiders in a small magnolia tree. The tree is draped in purple and green string lights. Everything is uplit with a green spotlight.
