Scotland's positive campaign for clear provenance. Not about boycotts, but a strong market share.

Page managed by Ruth Watson, campaign founder.
Chocolate with a conscience for a delicious guilt-free treat

The #ChocolateTree is beautifully presented, has ethics and transparency at its heart, and clearly displays the provenance from #BeanToBar

Received this photo today from someone in an Oslo library.

Tartans, especially in textiles, are intricate manifestations of Scotland’s heritage, style, and identity.

Where is it going in our future?

Where is the protection (other than Harris Tweed) for our iconic

Spotted in a Malaysian supermarket,

Scottish #FoodAndDrink stands proudly on the shelves.

Clear place of origin labels and branding means better sales and customer loyalty.

Scotland's name for quality is recognised and valued around the world.

Happy to see clearer provenance in #Lidl #Forfar

It's not about flags on food; most nations don't do that.

Nor did we, until the 'Great British' campaign displays of quasi-bunting.

It would be good to know where in Scotland this came from

Seeing as it's #StAndrewsDay, it seems like a good day to channel our inner rebellious Scot.

We love the new banner we have left on our mothballed profile on Twitter/X.

It is a shame to have to leave, but Bluesky is the more ethical place to #keepScotlandtheBrand

This is a pretty shocking example of poor 'place of origin' food labelling.

A display with the Saltire should contain Scottish carrots #MorrisonsSupermarket.

A genuine treat as 2023 comes to a close: a trip to the very accessible Arbikie Distillery for a wee dram of their limited edition rum cask Rye Scotch Whisky

Light, a delicate peaty start, a burst of apricot, ending on a caramel note

Lovely staff too.

Emma Harper, MSP, shares my fascination in Scotland's burgeoning #SeaSalt sector, so it was a pleasure to meet Dr Dzeti Zait from Peacock Salt, in Ayr, and hear about the work they're doing to #keepScotlandtheBrand while providing Scotland's #FoodandDrink industry with local salt.

Another Brexit blow for Scotland's egg producers with lower quality egg imports as outlined in this letter to @thecourieruk on 17.07.23.

We need to embed sustainable #FoodandDrink into our culture, with short supply chains which connect communities to local farmers, smallholders, and crofters. We need healthy soil, biodiversity, and local produce which feeds us well.
