In Feb 2016, OK Sierra Club and Public Justice, sued three Oklahoma oil and gas cos. alleging that their deep-well injection of fracking and oil production wastewater contributed to a surge in Oklahoma earthquakes and sought to limit injection-- a federal judge dismissed the lawsuit in April 2017.

As the former Director of OK Sierra Club, I can say we sued the state over the initial issue-- From zero to more than 16,000 (no, I am not kidding) earthquakes annually due to fracking and this is the next stage-- the BILLIONS, more likely trillions, of gallons of frack waste pumped UNDER THE STATE!
