Clickbait.

Ja.

Ist unangenehm sich das selbst einzugestehen.

Since hegseth is a drunk idiot, seems reasonable

It’s especially ironic because the lecture is exactly about the ‘paralyzing cowardice’ of today’s elites.

About universities, corporations and media networks bending the knee to authoritarianism. /4

Keep it simple. Everybody happy.

As if they forgot covid.

Yes. We can get rid of half of flying next year if deemed necessary.

We got rid of nearly 15% of emissions overnight (of course we quickly returned that to "normal")

Overconsumption might feel existential. Its not.

And that the whole world will govern it and pay for it.

Its a lie.

A very dangerous one.

Its a lie told by fossilists to calm down enough ppl so they can continue burning fossils

There is one way. Emissions Reduction. But ppl keep telling me that this is impossible, so better we do insane stuff

1000W/m^2 from the sun.

3W/m^2 global warming (yes, the inbalance is way less than 1%.

Total energy consumption of humankind 0.03W/m^2

You suggest to block precisely a small fraction of sun Light and guarantuee that fluctuation are small enough that it provides homogeneous cooling.

Again: it is a dangerous idea, nobody knows the consequences and you just want to solve one unintended global engineering catastrastophe with an intended catastrophe.

Are you aware of the involved energy fluxes? Do you think "nature is small" and we can just manipulate it at will?

But there seems no reasonable humans left, so go ahead.

Let them introduce dangerous global-scale (because we are so great at organizing and govern things at that scale) experiments that can and will go horribly wrong.

Cause reducing consumption is impossible.

Sure.
November 25, 2025 at 10:17 AM
No.

Its a way to mess up even greater. It is naive, dangerous and dumb.

Stop emissions. Get real. Live sustainable.
November 25, 2025 at 10:14 AM
It is stupidly dangerous.

So yes, of course humans will do it.
