Just played through Earthion on Steam. Can’t believe I’m playing a new Sega Genesis game in 2025 and that it holds its own with the best shoot ‘em ups of all time. Absolute blast to play and a technical stunner.

Panzer Dragoon Remake is surprisingly good on Switch 2. Running at higher resolution at 60 FPS with better loading and none of the glitches I remember when the game launched. Worth checking out if you have a Switch 2.

Suikoden 1 & 2 HD - half way through the first game. Looks beautiful and has nice QoL battle features but could’ve used changes to inventory management.

2025 Completed Games thread. Kicked off the year with the remastered Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. It’s clearly dated being a 1999 PS1 game, but I had a fun time revisiting the game. The cliffhanger ending is still jarring and underwhelming. 8.5/10.
