🚨Irish Healthcare Awards

That time of year when I’m invited to pay 100s of 💶 to apply:

“to shine a light on all the incredible things you have been working on and get the recognition you deserve”

Too busy trying to find funds to keep a busy research group alive, me!

Barriers in 🇺🇸 fetal medicine care

Lack of insurance cover prevented 4% of referrals for care of complex fetal anomaly -work presented by team @ChildrensPhila

Shows importance of publicly-funded specialist healthcare as in 🇮🇪 although other disparities exist…

Who has access to specialised fetal care ?

Disparities in access to care shown across 🇺🇸

Geographic and socio-demographic barriers evident via @AnnieGiron4 ‘s presentation ⬇️

Improve access - collaboration, networks, cover, telehealth etc

Learning for 🇮🇪
