I’ve spent a couple months now with the Fellow Aiden and I can confidently say it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made. It creates an excellent tasting cup of coffee and adds a fun routine to each of my mornings. I’ve learned so much more about coffee thanks to the Aiden.

My next bags will be two seasonal offerings from Geek Grind Coffee. I’ve only used their K-cups thus far so I’m very much looking forward to tasting their whole bean roasts.

Almost finished with my Bad Santa bag from Xombie Coffee and I am pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoy it. I don’t even like peppermint but this brew is fantastic.

Finally got more bleached #2 coffee filters and I will be trying them tomorrow. I am definitely not a fan of unbleached filters. They muddy the flavor.

I’ve watched four Christmas movies so far this season and I am nearly Christmas-ed out.

Brewed coffee with an unbleached filter this morning and first impressions were not great. I accidentally used the wrong size (#4 when I needed #2), so I will brew again tomorrow with the correct size and see how it tastes.

I just wanna talk about movies and coffee, not politics.

I fear that in the rush to flee X, many people have brought the same negative political energy to BlueSky. And I’m not talking about Republicans.

Other than going to bed, the best part of my day is making my morning cup of coffee. The ritual of it is incredibly relaxing.

I’m still trying to get things dialed in on my Aiden and Ode Gen 2 grinder with the Kuri Mountain Guji from Medici Roasting. Keeping a brewing notebook has helped tremendously.

Now that I’ve switched from a Keurig to a Fellow Aiden, I love trying as many coffees as I can get my hands on. Just purchased the Bad Santa (chocolate candy cane) roast from Xombie Coffee.

What’s my favorite genre of movie, you ask? It’s gotta be a toss up between nightmare dreamscape à la David Lynch or Takashi Miike and late 90s/early 2000s horror.

Going through the pain of getting a piece of art permanently etched onto your body is what makes tattooing a uniquely beautiful experience.

I do wish that when you followed an account you would be presented with a list of related or similar accounts to follow. Perhaps a feature to be implemented in the future.

Exploring Bluesky for the first time is very reminiscent of the excitement I felt when I first joined Twitter 10+ years ago. Very much looking forward to following and engaging with more people here.
