This track, Mumbo, is my absolute favourite. Best enjoyed loud, then turned up a little bit more. When you hear your parents at the bottom of the stairs yelling up at you to “turn that bloody racket down” you can probably turn it up another notch.

When it’s a lovely day and you have a lovely song to record, why bother sitting in the studio when you can bung an couple of extensions on the cable and move the mics outside??

Two years ago today I fell down stairs at home and snapped my Achilles.
When I rang my wife at work to tell her what I’d done and to ask her to come and take me to hospital, she called me <checks notes> “a clumsy dumb fucker”.
