I really wish we had an app that was genuinely more social oriented. It can still have a hookup component, but it'd be nice if the foundation was more about facilitating a human interaction first.

That's why I insist upon spending some time chatting over the app for a while first, even if some people think it's lame/boring. It makes me feel more safe when I know that the person who I'm meeting up with can be patient and will treat me like a human instead of a button they can press to get sex.
