As a Swede, I can say that a significant portion of us consider the US to be a shithole country. I actually had a discussion with friends just this morning on how none of us will ever go there and the one person we knew who used to live there had to move because it sucked so bad.

As a Swede, Americans talking about Malört always used to confuse me, because it's just the Swedish name for wormwood. After some googling I eventually found out it's a specific American brand of brännvin. Always wanted to try it and compare with domestic versions.

Also, what does it matter if they're malicious or stupid? Either way the end result is the same. I don't care if the person pouring bleach in my eyes genuinely wants to blind me or if they think they're helping me clean my eyes, either way they're blinding me and I'm really upset about it.

As someone who had one major complaint, that NG+ runs became really tedious and they should've just Niered it, I'm happy I can now unequivocally recommend the game.

One of the wrestlers I legitimately can't stand. If you brag about attempting to kill people in the ring, you're a piece of shit. It doesn't matter if he lied to seem tougher, it's still absolute scumbag behaviour and the fact he still had a career just speaks to how shit the business used to be.

The Riotminds version of Drakar och Demoner was full of super cool stuff in general. I always loved the little things they fleshed out, and the artwork set my imagination into overdrive, even if I have some gripes with the way the game actually played.

I feel Vildhjarta has a super cool concept it absolutely fails to deliver on. The idea of a place where you can't kill people has stuck with me since I was a kid and for most of the adventure it's not really utilized.

Whenever a popular leftist candidate gets snubbed, it's always to the tune of "it's a smart political move". Then when the lame duck candidate they picked instead inevitably loses, it's suddenly the voters who failed them.

I felt bad. I also realized that the Democrats ran an inefficient campaign and ultimately were responsible for their own loss. The solution for fascism isn't lowering your standards to accept fascism light, it's actually embracing anti-fascism.

This is putting the onus on voters to set aside their moral standards, rather than the professional politicians to put forward policies with popular support.
