Lastly, I really liked that the participants were shown numerous websites for the attention group. Personally, I think this would help me because it allows me to tailor my treatment based on my own preferences, creating an inherent bias to feel better from the treatment @drwilliamsharp.bsky.social

I am curious what a longer study using Stressbusters would yield since it is inexpensive to implement. If something like this was used longer, I would like to know what the results would be in order to determine the true effectiveness of it@drwilliamsharp.bsky.social

Within the Wright et al. article, I appreciated that there were many different assessments within the study in order to attempt to get a more comprehensive analysis, but I would like to see this study replicated through online data collection to get more data @drwilliamsharp.bsky.social

I am more curious as to what the findings that have been hidden in the "file-drawer" are and whether there is actual research showing the negative that are much more prominent then the positive findings that have been published @drwilliamsharp.bsky.social

I have fallen into the trap of overlooking what "evidence-based" really means and how statistical significance can be very misleading. Whenever I read something using this type of language, I assume that the findings are applicable and put much weight into what is found @drwilliamsharp.bsky.social

"What the Therapist Thinks of You" by Jan Hoffman peaked my interest to research whether there is an objective benefit to a patient's treatment when they can read their session notes. I think it should be up to the therapists' discretion after evaluating their patient @drwilliamsharp.bsky.social
