USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory reports Episode 8 of the Halema'uma'u eruption began at 9:52 pm HST. Fountaining from the north vent rapidly increased to 50-80 feet high and is feeding a flow that is spreading on the crater floor. #volcano #lava #BigIsland
