Ambassador of Denmark to the United States Jesper Møller Sørensen and the Head Representative of Greenland in the US Jacob Isbosethsen came to my office this afternoon for an emergency meeting to discuss Greenland and the importance of NATO. On Greenland, the message is clear: it's not for sale.

We must remember January 6th for what it was - a violent attempt to overthrow the peaceful transfer of power - and not for what the President and his followers want us to believe.

While the GOP have raised premiums for now, the fight isn’t over. When I return to DC next week, I will fight alongside my Dem colleagues to restore the ACA tax credits and reverse the huge premium increases that are making life even harder for 32,000 of our neighbors here in SE Mass.

I am glad that we now have enough support in the House to pass a 3 year ACA tax credit extension under a discharge petition.
But the 32,000 residents of Southeastern Massachusetts facing thousands of dollars in monthly premium increases cannot wait until Congress returns in the New Year to vote.

Productive meeting today w/ Ukrainian Ambassador Olha Stefanishyna and repjimcosta.bsky.social , mcbride.house.gov, and titus.house.gov to discuss the necessity of US-backed security guarantees for Kyiv and Ukraine's European future. I look forward to our continued work together in the new year.

Tevis and I had a great time at today’s Falmouth Christmas Parade, but Moby stole the show per usual. Thanks to the Falmouth Chamber and to all of the volunteers and small businesses who worked together to bring the parade and the entire Holidays by the Sea celebration to life this weekend.

All the credit to the survivors who stepped up to make their voices heard in an effort to make sure that no child should ever again have to go through the trauma that they experienced, and that no White House can dismiss their lived experience as a hoax.

If you have plans to escape the cold this winter, now is the time to take a look at your passport. With routine processing times of 4-6 weeks and a suggestion to allow an additional 2 weeks on both ends for mailing, time is running out for routine processing before the February school break.

POTUS is in court again, fighting to prevent the distribution of SNAP benefits, and now he’s focused on penalizing states like MA that are stepping up to feed residents who are going hungry while the administration wages its fight in court to prevent the use of available funds to sustain SNAP.

POTUS is faced with two options: he can direct USDA to pay out SNAP benefits or he can do nothing and force 42 million Americans to go hungry. Starving Americans to score political points shouldn’t be considered an option at all, but the cruelty all too often seems to be the point these days.

I am a co-sponsor of H.R. 5401 - the Pay Our Troops Act of 2026 which will ensure our military personnel do not miss their October 15th paycheck, and I joined my colleagues in calling on Speaker Johnson to reconvene the House so we can vote on it ASAP.
