Benefit claiments have been demonised for years unfortunately so its no shock to me.

Its important to remember that if Reform or the tories win the next election then they will simply reintroduce the benefit cap in 2 seconds and any progress made will be lost.
Sometimes in politics you need to be patient and pragmatic

And honestly I don't give a fuck if it's popular or not. It's going to make a lot of kids' lives better. That's the point of government. Not an opinion poll.
