Oh, Atari ST512 and 1040!
I had those, too!
Bought 512 on 1st year student loan. updated 10 1040 nect year.
Then ST1040 was replaced by MegaST2, which I upgraded to 4 megs in 1989. Niwadays only virtual one!

BTW, Norwegian writer Maja Linde has written novels serie named "The Climate Quartet", which last part, 'Seeds', tells about Doomsday Vault.
