Sometimes it's difficult to judge size from pictures, but as I made this pump and had it in my hands... damn! You're just unbelievably huge.

That's a restriction with the 2-stage entry design itself. Only option is to change the opening style.

I need to think about that how to realize that in a parametric CAD model. That would eliminate the need for different styled openings.

What I still want to add is total length, but still need to figure out a formula to calculate it accurately.

I'm not sure what you mean with still to small.
I thought about adding other dimensions but have decided against it to not clutter the interface with to much information.

Still had to implement the function but needed to add the interface element. It's working now.

Ah, that's a simple config parameter. I'm currently cleaning up the code and making a nicer interface. Next version will have it
