If there was a marked difference in performance or features then change might be tempting, but we are in a period of diminishing returns. The only reason for hardware manufacturers being keen on AI is that current equipment will need to be changed.

The “left behind” used to be the red wall. The feeling I get is that this is widening. It might not be tinderbox, but there is a strong undercurrent. Ignore it at your peril.
