Pretty sure I dated this guy in the 90s. In fact, every woman I know dated a version of this guy. Scary

Can't states arrest federal agents that violate the law and carry out unlawful search, seizure and arrests and refuse to follow due process?
May 8, 2025 at 4:38 PM
Most states were already compliant with this standard. and now they charge an extra to put the star on the ID. If you've moved states you'd know since 9-11, you have to bring so much documentation to the DMV, it's ridiculous.

I wanted to like it, but it was just too much cringe for me. I turned it off during the second episode.

It wasn't until the 1970s that the first MSHA regulations were passed. Over the years the Msha has improved and tightened regulations. people do still get hurt and die. But, it's so much safer than those "good old days". That's what they're trying to take away. The rules that protect miners.

His son was used for his voice in the TV series adaptation of Willow. I believe it's been done a few times.

It was so weird and obvious when you're watching the movie.

No wonder his own mother hates him.

Well I work in the industry, so I'm very familiar with the rules. Where I live they take injuries VERY seriously. And MSHA laws are very strict. It's why we need to make sure we have enough inspectors.
March 31, 2025 at 1:13 AM
Mine safety is so important. Those states should also have mining inspectors as well. (My state does this) It is in the mines best interest to keep miners safe. An injury or death can result in a complete shut down. Being safe protects everyone.

Who did the styling on this movie? It's awful.

Nevada is the 5th largest producer of gold globally. AND there are multiple copper mines in Nevada struggling financially. But yeah, let's go take other people's? Makes no sense.

Maybe he wants to he able to go and pelt them with paper towels after every disaster?

They want to take the vote from women.

I have an irrational fear of bronze statues. They all look like there are souls trapped screaming inside. I really hope my irrational fears about them are impossible.

It's literally our job to be "obsessed" with what our officials are doing. They're just used to us letting them run amok.

Shakespeare in Love, The English Patient, Dances with Wolves and so many more than I can name right now.

That is making the assumption we really have free will now. I personally believe in free will, but there are philosophical arguments against it. That we are just acting out a pretty arranged script or program or God's will.

It's like he's actively trying to undermine everything.
March 17, 2025 at 9:48 PM
Let's hope it's an accurate self-prophecy.
March 17, 2025 at 4:30 PM
My personal opinion, it's resentment over the relative job security and retirement of government employees. Rather than blaming corporations that robbed people of this, they resent people that have it.
March 17, 2025 at 12:30 PM
It wasn't difficult for him. He's a coward and intentionally giving away our democracy. He needs to go now.
