What I love about Scott's YA/MG is he DOESN'T dumb it down. He speaks to little humans like they are capable of enjoying a story without condescension. His "Problem with Prophecies" series, for instance, is funny and awesome.

And a quick TMC update: writing is going very, very well. Just finished a chapter the other day, and the beta feedback was so inspiring that I'm diving into the next scene right now. Closer and closer, I get -- it's really looking like October or November may be a finish line for the draft.
