The piano in Pearse Station has been padlocked. I feel this is my fault and I’d just like to say that I’m sorry and that all I want for Christmas is yoooooouuuuuu. 🎶🎄

Also who do I complain to about this new mural which is deeply offensive to my people (Irish football supporters)?

Let me know if anyone is interested in presale tickets for the next chapter in the slow death of Irish football.

RTÉ just get us.

Never said the rules were fair or that I didn’t have a problem with them. My issue is one fanbase always looking to align with another in some sort of class struggle, while Villa fans don’t do the same. BBC, in particular Shearer, have been at it all summer too.

Interesting that we drew the top ranked side (by coefficient) in Pots 2, 3 and 4!

Took this picture in the local Tesco car park earlier and I’m just quite proud of it really.

Basically, you don’t get it call it a gig if the ticket pricing is more reminiscent of a dinner for Tory Party donors.

Spent a chunk of yesterday afternoon enjoying the very impressive and way ahead of its time music composition software included as an add-on in Super Mario Paint (1992) on the SNES.

Tickets at 500+ quid will do that

I don’t know about you, but the things that really excite me about Premier League football are its potential for cloud transformation and organisational productivity.

The PL are celebrating turning their once quite decent app into another hideous heap of needless ‘Stories’ and AI surveillance.

Looks like there’s more seagulls heading for the Lions match than people. Righty so.

Forgot to add, when viewing your library there’s a handy little button to shuffle play, meaning it randomly selects any release (album/EP) and plays it in full. A nice solution to not knowing what to play while avoiding algorithmic playlists.
May 28, 2025 at 5:36 PM
There is an option for transferring your library of releases and favourite tracks from other music streaming services and it’s fairly integrated into the app/your account.

Two different options for queueing a track/release. One to play it next and one to play it at the end of whatever you’ve already got queued up.

Nice.

Pros:

Hi Res Audio.

Everything sounds better on Qobuz. Some stuff is labelled as Hi Res, but even the regular stuff is much richer and clearer than Spotify or others. Do a comparison and you’ll instantly hear stuff you’ve never heard before.

Roll up, roll up, get your data centres!
May 13, 2025 at 4:28 PM
This crowd have taken over the Button Factory today. Looks like a real ‘money is no object’ production.

Can’t tell if it’s the launch of a dystopian Netflix drama about data centres, or an even more dystopian corporate event for people looking to get rich off the death of the planet. 😣
