And so should the president who hired him and congressmen who endorsed him and senators who confirmed him.

I don’t know anything about these tropic accounts, but by the name alone, I’m assuming it’s a grift.

Correlation does not equal causation. Is there any science behind this story or is it conjecture?

contradiction here…Their earlier public support for Trump’s anti-abortion rhetoric helped normalize his approach to immigration. Hard to protest the consequences without acknowledging the role they played in enabling them. Hard to act outraged about the fire when you helped hand out the matches.

I’m realizing what a dopamine hit it was seeing a drop in weight on the scale. I’m missing that.

Probably less than if he was working and making more crazy rules to take from the poor and give to the rich!

But it was signed Henry Grant. How did Julia know it was her Henry?

How did Julia know it was from her Henry? Did I miss the part that showed the content of the letter?

Have you done an analysis of how many more hospitals you’ll need to treat patients with preventable diseases?
Have you done an analysis of how many tourism dollars you will lose when theme parks have to close because of disease outbreaks?

Is there any data to show what happens to tourism when large outbreaks of diseases are present? Not that FL relies much on tourism dollars <sarcasm>.

You're missing the point. It’s not about choosing drugs over common sense or exercise—it’s about recognizing that for some people, those tools help them get to a place where they can even begin to make lasting changes. Just because something isn’t permanent on its own doesn’t mean it has no value.

You had your own journey but don’t project it onto everyone else like it’s truth. Calling people lazy and pretending it’s ‘common sense’ ignores the reality that people face different struggles—mental health, environment, access, trauma. Oversimplifying it like that isn’t tough love, it’s ignorance.

Ah yes, the ‘just eat healthy and exercise’ cure-all—straight from the Department of Oversimplified Advice for Complex Human Biology.
