I love how the cats rush to join me whenever I take 5 minutes in the sun, away from my desk. As if being outside is contagious. #AcademicsWithCats

Wonderful to be out in the sunshine with @alivegardening.bsky.social this morning, ‘breaking the ground’ for the next iteration of #Hoppiness. More details to follow!

Trying to input an ethics application to the university system. It crashed and I now can’t get back in. Could Zorro have pushed the wrong button? 😩 #AcademicsWithCats

Well, @fatfreddysdrop.bsky.social at @bristolbeacon.bsky.social last night were a tonic! Booked on a whim at the start of the year as part of a resolution to get to More and Different music. Absolutely loved it. Incentive to make same resolution this year.

I‘m loving working with Amguedffa Cymru - Museums Wales on the evaluation of their Museums Inspiring #Memories programme. Moving visit this morning with their Caffi Mine group to the National Mining Memorial at Senghenydd for a service to mark anniversary of the country’s worst colliery disaster.

Today on #Hoppiness Brewing in Care Homes project we were harvesting the hops ready for the brew. All hands around the table, conversation, stories, laughter, bringing the outside in.

Had the most fabulous overnight stay in the bunkhouse on Orford Ness. All its strange wildness to ourselves for 24 hours. Shingle, ruins, seals, deer, owls, clear skies. What a treat.

Is there a BlueSky #AcademicsWithCats? This is Zorro. She’d like to say that she’s seen it all before and she has Things To Say.
