Merry Catmas. A lot changed after Twinkie died- Stella, a calico who happens to be Heidi's sister from a different litter moved in in April, and just a few months ago, baby Kevin magically joined our family, and turned out to be a girl. So, three girl cats, and they all love each other ♥️

Lord Twinkleton McFurrybottom passed away in very dramatic fashion about two and a half weeks ago. He was on my child's lap, rolled off, and died. It's been traumatic. But, the light is that Heidi is coming out of her weird little shell a little bit more every day. Here she is, trying to be a cat.

Anybody use a serger/overlock machine? I'm thinking about upping my sewing game, but they're expensive and I would like to hear opinions, good OR bad. Looking at them online is overwhelming and I've never used one, so I'm not sure what to look for or avoid.

When we bought our current house, it was full of expensive surprises. It took several years to get over being mad at the guy who sold us his deceased mom's home. About a year ago I found a handwritten recipe, in the mom's writing. I threw it out, then took it back and put it where I found it.....

Woke up at 4, my brain decided it wanted to THINK about all of the things that are wrong, could go wrong, etc. And I dozed off at maybe 5, to be woken up a little later by my boy cat quite clearly yelling at me in English to get up, and rubbing his teeth on me. Totally normal, right?

8 yo is obsessed with cards against humanity. It's ok, it's family edition, so more gross than offensive, but anyways, it counts as reading, correct?
