You might not be able to catch Travis Kelce on your television this weekend, but you can learn about his look-alike, Alexander Majors, at the Kansas City Public Library.

Majors made his fortune shipping freight on the Santa Fe Trail before helping find the Pony Express in 1860.

You can now travel to three of our Library locations using the @kcstreetcar.org! We are so excited, we made custom stickers for the opening day.

Before the extension, riders could only access the Central Library via the Streetcar. Now they can ride to our Westport and Plaza Branches too!

We want to thank 15 and the Mahomies for giving the Library $15,000 to support next year's Summer Reading Program. 📚 This grant will help fund book giveaways and free, hands-on learning opportunities to Kansas City residents of all ages next summer.

Yesterday, the Library hosted a United States Naturalization Ceremony where 99 people from 39 countries became U.S. citizens. ❤️

Director Abby Yellman kicked off the day by greeting everyone and extending an invitation to visit us at the Library again soon.
