And sexism and homophobia. I bemoaned to a friend how sad it was to watch people hand over our rights for the food prices, then months later hand them over for nothing, for free.

This sounds almost plausible — but it feels too consequential to be (multiple) mistake(s). Feels more like they are playing right in our faces because they know we (collectively) are docile and dumb and unquestioning. I have so many pals going yay TT back in not questioning it.

I've seen some real negative posts about tiktok here - it wasn't just an app for teenagers to dance on and even if it was, the ban would still be bad.

So, what I’m saying is: we watched them—on TikTok —we watched livestreams for 30-60 minutes—I get the feeling people don’t really understand what that platform was.

I’m guessing people who already have audiences that support an income (marketing wise) yeah. So so so many of them can’t abandon any of these tech giants due to work.
