This section of the article gives several reasons the number of benefit claims has risen starkly. I fit the last reason perfectly. I wanted to wait til I turned 70 but once 47 was elected, I knew he & the Repubs would try to get rid of it or mess w/it. I applied at 67 but wish I could have waited.

I too was in Panama in early February! As we watched a couple ships go thru the Milaflores lochs, the narrator on the observation deck made a point, multiple times, of emphasizing the Canal as belonging to Panama. It appeared most of the American tourists were cheering that on.
