Creative human doing creative things. Good human trying to always be good to others.
There's a house around the corner from my sub that has been high-flying one of those massive T***p flags for about a year. Just noticed it's gone. Even the flagpole. There may be hope for us yet.

I'm breathing calmly today. I don't know why, but I feel things are going to start turning back around. Just a vibe. Don't doom scroll.

From @theathletic.bsky.social: Saquon Barkley's origin story feels right out of a Marvel comic.

The man who has led the Eagles’ Super Bowl run, who has been the most exciting player in football, almost quit the sport just before his career was about to take off. nyti.ms/3CAW05m
Saquon Barkley is a superhero for the Eagles. His origin story is straight out of a comic book, too
Saquon Barkley has an origin story as classic as a superhero's, overcoming early struggles to make the Super Bowl.

The compassion of time; the knowing that some will not always be with us is great solace.

Every Democrat who doesn't have a press conference in front of a bridge or road project that just got "paused" by tomorrow morning is derelict in their duty.

If you were a kid in the '70s around Detroit, you may remember dialing a number such as 211 that would get you to the "Pipeline", which basically was an open line where we could call out to each other, even exchange phone numbers. It was our own rudimentary chat room. Wonder if it existed elsewhere?

It's hard not to think about social media these days. I've been reflecting on my life before it. How easy it was not to know everything about everyone the moment it happened. What joy there was in a good phone call or receiving a letter from someone special.

OK, just deleted my Threads accounts. It's that feeling you get when you finally organize your junk drawer.

After Charity Preview, I can always count on somebody to ask me some question related to the cars on display. Cars? What cars? All I noticed were the people in their fancy (and sometimes not) ensembles. See who - and what - caught my eye at this year's car prom.

Good lord, I have to be more active here. I have to confess, I am hardcore on FB & Insta, don't want to be anymore, but my connections are big and strong there. I suppose it's up to me to put in the time to build that here. (Big inhale. Bigger exhale.) Ok, let's do this.

Hi everyone! Clearly enough people told me I needed to be here that I caved to peer pressure. Who am I looking to connect with? In simplest terms, people who don't suck. If that's you, let's do this thing. Bonus points if you're from Michigan.
