You need 20 TDs or 4 local councils to nominate you just to get on the ballot. For perspective, if it was the UK you'd need 75-80 MPs or 45 councils. A high bar even when you're NOT a rapist with very public links to the biggest crime syndicate in the country that's hated by 90%+ of voters.
