Lunar New Year at the Nelson-Atkins Museum. It’s the first festival of the year and opens at 10am today. Lots of indoor activities are planned as the weather may not cooperate.

The KC Symphony
Tao did an amazing job with the Beethoven piano concerto this weekend, and the 7th symphony sounded amazing. The commissioned piece was not a highlight to the evening. It was a muddled piece that I just could not appreciate.

Tao is playing Beethoven 7 this weekend, at the Kauffman Center.
He did a fantastic job on the European Tour.

Kansas City - some positive local news.
Another positive sign for KC, the arts continue to grow here. The Kansas City Symphony finished its first European Tour last fall and the Nelson-Atkins Museum had a great Hokusai exhibition. Enjoy your day, spring is on its way. :)
