I generally agree with your take but watching Tim and Will right now I have to disagree on this one.
Dems should have held out longer until Trump voters really started to feel the pain themselves- otherwise America is never going to stop this slide into fascism.
Something needs to wake them up.

I don’t think people realise how scary this is. There was a time in Germany when people laughed at and ignored the National Socialists (Nazis) They didn’t act early enough to stamp the movement out and we all saw where that led.

Yes it is. It is no longer the country I grew up in. And I am shocked by the lack of resistance to this kind of rhetoric and hatred. History has shown us where it leads.

There are a lot of things we “always had” before this administration - like the rule of law, adherence to international laws, etc.
