*spoiler Dont hate me but i was pleasantly surprised and unnerved at the bonkers end. I found the film very moving (the bits with his mum) but im ready for a change of pace...as is always the case with these films the humans are usually worse than the monsters and this hints at that. Bring it on!

I was so dissappointed by this. Loads of plot points & characters not developed. Tonally all over the place.. comedy? Farce? Satire? No one to root for apart from the baby caterpillar. I was also huffing at the "big" scene. Cant believe its had some good reviews! Bet its just cos of who directed it
