Random followup weeks later because life is busy. My completed map and hastily scrawled notes!

Mansion of Innsmouth heads the day is ours ✊

(for real though, I played this on an emulator a few years back and it was actually kinda sick)

In the middle of making a hand-drawn map as part of my playthrough (first in a decade!) and it’s such a great experience.

Yeah, wrong combo of character and machine can feel messy. It’s surprisingly tunable though for this exact reason. Though, I think it’s expected you’ll be bumping into walls for a lot of the race. City Trial largely alleviates this by giving you a playground to drive around in.

The Buffalo Hunter Hunter; not the scariest scary book I’ve ever read but it has some great reveals and it all around A Good Read. Compelling subject matter as well and very cathartic.

I’ve reluctantly worked copilot into my (software dev) workflow and when used as another tool in the belt it can be okay, despite potentially undercutting genuine growth. But it helped walk me through the results of ipconfig this morning since I know fuck all about networks which was nice.

Alternatively, 4-1 which has the secret exit where you have to fly under the first goal to find a second. One of the games most memorable moments (I like Mario World, alright?)

All time classic Mario level.

2-1 from Mario World because it’s nostalgic, I think it’s where you first get the cape, and it has a secret exit.

All time classic Mario level.
