Looks like my blocklist saved me from having to figure out if @amyhoy.bsky.social was being sarcastic before I had a coffee.

Some prototyping to try and fix a broken hook for my bike bag. The part can easily be removed, but you can’t seem to buy replacement parts. 3D printing to the rescue. This is the most complicated part I’ve tried to model so far, because it’s rounded everywhere and getting measurements is hard.

Collected this great batch of mushrooms in minutes, yummy.

Seriously, these look like Agaricus xanthodermus, based on how they stain yellow if you break them, so they're not for eating. Just needed to get them off my lawn.

We hit an #antiSMASH milestone just in time for my talk on about an hour: 2 million jobs processed on the public web service, in a little under 15 years of its existence.
I’m super happy to have the opportunity to build a tool that turned out to be so useful to the community.

No matter how good your article might be, if your cover image is generated crap like this, I'll pass. If you don't care enough to not have Domain Nme on your DNS article, I don't care enough to read it.

Time for some marine biology. No sampling permit, so focusing on observing the macro, not micro.

Today in "this is a legitimate email, not spam", I present this gem. I keep telling our IT folks that the reason people keep falling for phishing emails isn't that phishing mails are getting better, it's because legitimate emails are getting worse.
