I should probably do this, but I already have the name, so...

We're mostly agreed. For me a big issue is that the vast majority of cities' budgets go to the police, who are doing much more than law enforcement (and are not trained to do that!). Instead, I'd like to see that budget spread around to other specialized professions.

But yeah, terrible messaging.

Eh, the words are stupid in that they do not clearly express the underlying idea (pay other specialists to do the broad range of work the police are doing badly, let the police focus on actual law enforcement), but the idea itself is pretty good.

That would be majestic. Aspirational even.
