Following on from the short stories I started diving into the Witcher novels proper.

Enjoyed the pacing and the world and having played the game first really loved diving in to what inspired it.

This reminded me a lot of the Dunk and Egg stories I read earlier.

Love these short stories in a vast world - any other examples of this you think I should read?

Had a good idea that fundamentally changes what I already have. The temptation to not go back and rewrite everything is HUGE.

Realised I had a Pratchett-shaped hole in my reading habits, so decided to fix it with this.

Grabbed it second-hand and found it funny, thought-provoking and easy to read. Any other Terry Pratchett books you recommend?

Been ill for a month and finally back to writing. Feels good but... how do you do this again?! #writersky

I enjoy dipping in and out of non-fiction, and this was recommended to me after Killing Thatcher.

Great stories of life in East Germany and a real insight into a different world.

So good. Absolutely love strolling around the world of Westeros with Dunk and Egg.

There's something really nice about having little stories in such a big world, hope there's more to come.

Do you write consistently or in bursts? Or a bit of both? #writersky

Is Ayoade a genius?

I think he might be... Who else would create a fictional writer, write a biography of them and four other books of their life's work to release at the same time?

Bold, brilliant and hilarious. Love it.

As far as writing spots go... it's not a bad one...

The reviews are in...

Read the vampire thriller everyone is talking about, love, politics, rage - can vampires and humans ever truly coexist?

For me to write I need cafe ambience with my headphones in but nothing playing. What do you guys need? Music? Silence?

Writing after work once it's dark is always difficult, let alone finding a cafe that is still open! When and where do you write?
