For the record, I did have a Palkia on my team when I played BDSP. But I also had Giratina on my Platinum playthrough. It only took 2 tries to beat Cynthia in BDSP but 20+ tries in Platinum. I thought BDSP was way too easy and lost Cynthia's dominance. I would play Platinum over BDSP.
