Discussing communications in law practice, would you teach students how to have a phone call with a client or supervisor? Is that too "boomer" or still a relevant skill?
In my Advanced Legal Writing and Editing class, today we talked about how much information or detail one should include in an email. Is it more like a letter, which can be longer and more detailed, or like a quick memo, with bullet points and short paragraphs? It may be a generational preference?

In my first legal writing class, I asked my 1Ls what qualities a "good lawyer" has. What makes a good lawyer? Here are their responses. I can't wait to see how they learn and live these qualities in law school and beyond.
