About the only positive I see in the #Steelers signing Aaron Rodgers...if he throws for 400 yards against the Bengals, he won't listen to Mike Tomlin when he tells him to hand the ball off every play the following week.

I'm trying to understand why the #Steelers are actively pursuing a 41-year-old QB coming off one of his worst seasons, who admittedly has personal issues, is pondering retirement and could quit on them at any time if he signs.
Make that make sense...

Here's the thing...
At his postseason presser Mike Tomlin will try to convince everyone the Steelers are one or two players away.
And he's right.
They're one or two players away from 3-14.
January 12, 2025 at 3:56 AM
At this point Omar Khan has to look at this Steelers team and believe it needs gutted.
Tomlin cannot have free reign on personnel anymore because it's painfully obvious he can't pick talent.
There isn't one assistant coach that should stay.
There had to be a top-down cultural reset.

Jameis Winston is the perfect Browns quarterback moving forward.
He'll make just enough outstanding plays to keep the team and the fans into it before tearing their hearts out with a critical turnover to lose the game in the fourth quarter.

As poorly as the #Steelers played tonight (and make no mistake...they did) they were a bad third-down deep-shot by a backup quarterback call on offense and a botched intentional grounding penalty call on defense away from winning this game.
