Got two new satellites in space today! Loved getting a sat selfie from SpaceX’s feed. Pelican 3 is the large one on the left and Pelican 4 is just visible on the lower right.

Very excited to see the next two Pelican satellites on their way to launch. I can’t wait to help more customers get the imagery they need from our new Pelican satellites!

We had a thunderstorm roll by at sunset last night and ended up with a crazy double rainbow. The primary bow was actually a stacked, or supernumerary bow which I’ve rarely seen. It was nice to pause a moment and take in a beautiful moment among all the craziness.

I beyond excited to share our first imagery from Planet’s Pelican satellite! It’s so beautiful and crisp! I continue to be blown away by the talent of my team at Planet- the release of this first light imagery was a great way to celebrate my 2 yr Planetversary.

Lunar Trailblazer is set to launch later this afternoon! Lunar Trailblazer will be set to map water on the moon. It shocking how little we know about lunar water, which could be key for further space exploration. Watch the launch coverage starting at 3:30 PT
