NB: Balkre is spoken by a mesolithic people who haven't yet developed the concept of farming. Given the tendency of rats to congregate in barns and silos, this word will become obsolete in the next iteration of the language, but allow for the introduction of other irregularities in the future.

Balkre here establishes a contrast between leather-wings (toplitse) and feather-wings (tovolrutse). It wasn't planned in the conworld that in hierarchy of winged things they would think of bats before birds and insects, but it's kinda worked out that way and I don't by any means hate it.
