I’m sure the local TV numbers in a lot of cities weren’t great before Apple, but 2-4 hours of free advertising every week when you don’t have a giant marketing budget is invaluable.

My kids aren’t really into soccer, but $50 each to see the greatest to ever do it in an air-conditioned stadium was absolutely worth it. Hopefully they remember that free kick the rest of their lives, soccer fans or not.
