I was on the dev team and we used to joke, "it's not a virus but it works like one"
"It's not a security product, it's an obscurity product"

It's difficult to believe that _nobody ever_ has publicly pasted their redis enterprise config files with the auto tiering feature turned on.
Is Redis™ actively maintaining this as a trade secret?
My mind is boggled.

The implementation codename for "redis on flash" is BigRedis. Even discovering this was a half day effort.
Searching for a couple of key settings `bigredis-path` and `bigredis-max-ram` comes up with exactly zero results in Google, Bing, GitHub, and SourceGraph.

I had a brown intern zune stolen in a smash and grab in Eastlake.

That's the day the light went out of my eyes.

It would have to keep up with the other machines.
~ 1 hr per load (dryer is slowest here).
10-40 items per load.
Somewhere around a minute per item would be fine.

Oh, unless you're copy pasting yaml with ad hoc changes? Id call that infrastructure as code, at best.

At least it's version controlled and possibly code reviewed.

Good on you but wow what a corporate cobweb haha. Quicken Inc isn't even owned by Intuit anymore (TIL). It's a standalone company that has to license it's own fuckin name from a mortgage lender in Detroit (Rocket) that Intuit happened to buy and then spin off around the turn of the century.
