Imo the way those devs are being screwed over is enough reason to buy the game from GOG or itch.
Scummy enough that Valve doesn't allow them, but they at least knew that for the longest time.
Denying them, last minute, is just super scummy behavior and not very "epic".

Eidos Montreal laid off more than 10 people in another round of layoffs. Sources told InsiderGaming that most projects at the studio has been cancelled. Currently they're working on 'Grounded 2' and 'Fable' for Xbox alongside an internal project.
