So, not what I expected to read next, but was a great recommendation from a friend and I'm glad I read it.

This book, written somewhat recently I'll add, will remain a reference point for the road ahead.

If you're looking for a bright side to things, please, go check it out!

If you want to change the world, start at home.

So, while I'm not in the position to enact big change, the book provides an excellent perspective to pursue more positive approaches.

Ways of assuming good from others without falling into naivety. Ways of encouraging perspective shift from others.

I appreciate that the writing doesn't become preachy. Maybe it can seem that way.

Bregman mostly asks questions, suggests trying something different, something the data supports.

Sadly, a reasoned approach is unlikely to shake the status quo. But, still worth considering.

Over and over, theories that conclude that people are beasts in society's clothing, theories that clearly formed the foundation of politics, economics, education...

Not only
- are these theories incorrect
- were the results biased

But most originators of these theories tried to recant their words.

I knew many widely-held theories on human nature were untrue or at best only true in some cases, BUT

It is honestly poetic how, not only are most theories on people being selfish FALSE, but led to that conclusion through false pretense.

Narratively on point, but frustrating to live with.

Nice! Yeah, it seems like a real coming of age fantasy, and since it was written some time ago, likely inspired some that followed.

I was lucky enough to find the entire series at a local book hutch, so I'm diving in now!

Different form factors. Make YT Shorts/clips of some engaging parts of the video. Make Instagram posts. Make "in-progress" posts.

Feel free to join my Discord (link in pinned), there's a sharing channel there and I'll check out and recommend others check it out.

Also, if you have permission...

Engaging with others. Are you posting something similar to a community? You can engage/collaborate/comment and share their stuff and they may feel inspired to do the same.

Discord and Twitch. If you're posting your stuff there and talking about it, people may check it out.
