"Sports & cinema lover—baseball, hockey, and movie nights are my thing. Here for the vibes and some 🔥 visuals too. Mid 40s, trying to make it to retirement.
Rotoscope animation in A Scanner Darkly totally drew me in, maybe too much. I feel like I missed parts of the story, so a rewatch will be in order. Loved seeing big-name actors in such a surreal, thoughtful sci-fi film.

Visually stunning and perfectly horny, with a standout Orlok and a powerful ending—though rushed. It is enjoyable overall, but it feels like a beautiful, unnecessary retelling of a story that didn’t need to be told again.

A wild ride. Clooney shines, Tarantino’s script shines, and the soundtrack rocks. Effects are a bit cheesy, but it’s all part of the fun in this over-the-top cult classic.

A hypnotic, dreamlike film about obsession and memory, where reality blurs and time loops, leaving the viewer in a haunting state of ambiguity and emotional disquiet. Requires patience, but it's worth the ride.

I'm not sure how i made it to this point in my life without seeing this before. Enjoyable crime drama with solid performances and stylish melodrama. While not a masterpiece, it delivers engaging action, a strong cast, and memorable set pieces. It's worth a watch!

Forbidden Planet set the standard for sci-fi visuals with its bold, comic book-style design, stunning effects, and iconic Robby the Robot. While the story is weak, its influence on the genre is undeniable, shaping sci-fi until *2001: A Space Odyssey.*

The Apartment is a perfect blend of humor, heartbreak, and romance. Jack Lemmon’s Baxter walks the thin line between laughter and sorrow, while Shirley MacLaine’s understated brilliance makes Fran unforgettable. A deeply human film. I am glad i made time to finally view.

I watched it with my 14 year old daughter tonight. I may have cried. I may not have. I will never tell. A true heartwarming comedy. That will make you wonder why you can only buy packages of 8 hot dogs, but buns come in packages of 12.

A nostalgic masterpiece of simplicity. Childhood's chaos and charm are captured with humor and charm. Sharp direction. Heartwarming realism make this a timeless favorite of mine and one I will continue to re-watch as long as I live.

A triumph of style and storytelling. It is a bold, operatic vision of the classic tale, steeped in beauty and horror. Unforgettable performances, jaw-dropping visuals. The film endures as a gothic masterpiece, even if not all elements are perfectly in tune.

Pure Joy!!! The Muppets always make me smile, and Michael Cain delivers the most memorable Scrooge ever, providing a performance full of gravitas and heart, even alongside the hilarious Muppets. It's not Christmas without this classic.

Well, that was not the Rudolf movie I thought i was getting. The 6 year old enjoyed it. I thought it was a bit terrifying 😳.

Mischief of the Gremlins. Chaos of Home Alone. Dark humor. Creepy Creatures. Dysfunctional family. A fun twisted holiday treat.

Fun experiment. Not intentional art. There is an overlapping theme of self-discovery with Oz and Dark Side of the Moon. The film is hopeful, the album is tormented. The contradicting approaches together are entertaining, but the impact will depend on how much the viewer projects onto it.

A total labyrinth of lies, facts, and conspiracies. Honestly, the way that was edited is still a masterpiece, and Oliver Stone is the only tour guide you want leading you through this labyrinth.

I watched it for the first time last night. First of all, Grace Kelly is gorgeous.

Acting, script, and direction were near perfect. I was amazed that a film that takes place in one place built tension and kept me on the edge of my seat.

My teen daughters and I have been enjoying this. Sounds like a food Sunday afternoon.

My little guy turns 6 on Thursday. For his birthday, he asked to go see this today. So off to the theater we go.
