The basic game play elements are done! I need to add the extra actions for both player characters as well as the other 3 enemy types. 4 days left on this jam and I think development is coming along nicely! #gamedev

Got a lot of work done on a new jam. This is a turn based game with a similar turn order system to Honkai: Star Rail. I had a dead project that had this kind of system, but I rebuilt it because I'm better now. Anyways, there's not much to this game yet but that should change soon! #gamedev

Here's my first day of progress. The jam's theme is light & shadow.

In Depth of Darkness, you must escape a laboratory filled with clap-activated lights. The loud noises you (or your captors) make will toggle the lights. #gamedev

I think this is the kind of thing you're working on. I would give each circle a script that lets you input other circles to add a line to, then it would create Line2Ds that point to the other circles position

Now, when the player moves vertically, its rendering layer will change with its movement, and it will be able to hide behind objects.
