yeaaaah it was pretty wild trying to piece it all together, plus it was back when the game was still fairly new so i was pretty young at the time. i played mgs1 a few years later and suddenly the references in 4 (especially in act 3) made way more sense LMAO

MGS4 was my first introduction to the series. I had no real idea of who anyone was or what really happened before the game and DESPITE THAT... I was still super invested haha. Probably my personal fave in the series despite its flaws, and the ending still gets me today
